  By all accounts, Steve Jobs is no engineer. He was never a programming maven like Bill, nor was he a hardware wiz like Woz. On his own, Jobs could not create much of anything. But that’s not his superpower. Though a good critic can influence the community of creators, in the end, he does not create anything himself. But take that critic and put him in charge of the creators. Make him, let’s say, the founder, CEO, and spiritual leader of several thousand of the most talented engineers and artists in the computer industry. What might happen then?   Dear Apple,

  Oh joy! They just called from the local Apple dealer today, and guess  what?! My 17” MacBook Pro with the faster processor and 7200RPM 320Gb HDD and 4Gb of RAM to tell me had arrived! =D

  Went to the store after the meeting I was in ended (Brix was with me), and sure enough, there it was! Good thing I’d depositet the full price when I ordered it, you guys sure took your sweet time assembling it - I’m pretty sure the money would have been spent on beer in the mean time had I not had the foresight ^^

  The guy at the store was really nice; apparently, if you spend ~$4400 (and ask really nicely!), they throw in a free extra power source =D

  I’ll be uploading my unboxing photos soon (thanks, CameraMan Brix!), and I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to our new relationship. This is, after all, my first Mac ever, and you *know* how I’ve been resisting you. One mouse button?! oO WTF?! I just couldn’t see eye to eye with you. And then what do you go and do? New MacBooks. *NO* BUTTON!!! óÒ Touché, Apple, touché. You won. Fair and square. And now we’re together…

  …and I have a really good feeling about this <3
