Dear Apple,
Oh joy! They just called from the local Apple dealer today, and guess what?! My 17” MacBook Pro with the faster processor and 7200RPM 320Gb HDD and 4Gb of RAM to tell me had arrived! =D
Went to the store after the meeting I was in ended (Brix was with me), and sure enough, there it was! Good thing I’d depositet the full price when I ordered it, you guys sure took your sweet time assembling it - I’m pretty sure the money would have been spent on beer in the mean time had I not had the foresight ^^
The guy at the store was really nice; apparently, if you spend ~$4400 (and ask really nicely!), they throw in a free extra power source =D
I’ll be uploading my unboxing photos soon (thanks, CameraMan Brix!), and I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to our new relationship. This is, after all, my first Mac ever, and you *know* how I’ve been resisting you. One mouse button?! oO WTF?! I just couldn’t see eye to eye with you. And then what do you go and do? New MacBooks. *NO* BUTTON!!! óÒ Touché, Apple, touché. You won. Fair and square. And now we’re together…
…and I have a really good feeling about this <3
